Chapter History

The Don Jose Verdugo Chapter, NSDAR, was organized on March 27, 1953. Mrs. Guy Warren Hull was the chapter's first regent. The chapter's name was chosen because of its proximity to the land grant of Don José Verdugo. Most members are from the Crescenta-Cañada Valley area; however, some members are from other areas as well. Local residency is not a requirement for membership in any chapter.
